Andres Cepeda is a colombian singer that has a very important place on the music world, he is recognized as a singer, composer and writer. He started his career in 1990 and since then love is the main source of his inspirations. He was born in july the 7th of 1973, in Bogotá – Colombia and he was surrounded by the rock and pop music.
On his school year, Andres found the gender know as spanish rock an d that was the begging of his inspiration. The first band he created was named “POLIGAMIA” and it was conformed by his friends, the group who he lived to for 8 years, they got four album hits, one of them is the song “Mi generación”
When the group dissolved, Andres continued his career as a soloist, and the first album he released was named “Se Morir” in 1999, that album with just a month since its release got the platinum disc.
The routine at Andres consist in working up at 5 a.m. breakfast at 5:30 a.m. he walks since 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. then he goes home to get ready to go to the studio, where he prepares every say new songs.
The people who are closed to Andres during the day are Alfredo Nodarse and his musicians. At 1 p.m. he goes for a lunch with his future wife Elisa Restrepo, they are living together since 2012, then at 3 p.m. Andres goes to different public places in order to share same time with his fans or giving concerts.
The best thing that Andres has in his life is doing his “job”, travel and make “giras” is the best thing he has in his life, because music is what he loves and do it as a “job” is the best gift that God could gave him. His favorite artist is Juan Luis Guerra; the song that he loves the most and that he composed is “Que no he sido yo”. The best moment in his life was when he got the chance of making music again 2000.
The best memories belongs to his childhood when he used to travel with his family to the coast. The best gift for him are the book, and the best song he has ever dedicated “Tengo Ganas” the song he dedicated to his future wife “Lo mejor que hay en mi vida”. He would like to be and old man pass the 80´s and have a long career.
